This petition is to start a movement to get roller derby in the X Games!
Modern roller derby has climbed to popularity in the past few years. It is an international sport dominated by over a thousand all-female amateur teams, in addition to a growing number of male, co-ed, and junior roller derby teams, and is as a roller sport under consideration for the 2020 Olympics.
But WE DON'T WANT TO WAIT FOR THE OLYMPICS!!
And face it, most of us probably wouldn't fit in. :) We believe that the X Games and Roller Derby are a perfect fit. We can offer the extreme, full contact, womens sport the X Games needs. Pass this petition to all your friends if you want to see ROLLER DERBY IN THE X GAMES!!

I have been reading through the comments you all are leaving and the level of passion for this sport is honestly overwhelming. It is entirely because of your energy that this idea is still moving forward despite my own lack of experience with these types of campaigns.

Yes! This game takes so much skill, of course it would be a good fit for the X Games.

I've played roller derby for almost 4 years. Derby is a serious competitive sport, and is not thw stigma that people may believe. There are rules, strategy, and camaraderie that comes with this sport, as well as a respect for any fellow derby player. Please let this sport into the games.
Roller derby is so intense and definitely deserves a spot on a big stage like the X Games. People have no idea how hard we train.
long overdue tbh. watching derby is way more exciting than most of the stuff they show on tv now.
Or at least do a chicks in bowls event at x games!
Obvious win for the x games.
