John Scott was a hard working NHL grinder. A family man with a wife, children, and even twins on the way. While he is not a common NHL superstar, he was voted as a captain for the 2016 NHL All-Star game, by the fans. Since the NHL did not want a non-superstar in the game, they colluded to keep him out of it. After he snubbed requests to bow out on his own, by both the NHL and the Phoenix Coyotes, he was traded to the Montreal Canadiens and sent down to their AHL affiliate, so he would not longer be eligible to participate in the NHL All-Star game. The NHL needs to take responsibility for its embarrassing actions and put John Scott back in the All-Star game. The fans voted him in and we need to show the league we still want to see him play.
Just let him play. It's not like there's money riding on the outcome. Sometimes it's nice to not have to watch the so called "superstars". Embarrassed right now that my team (Habs) was part of this bullying.
