I was at this rink almost every night as a kid. Was a shame that it closed in the first place. PLEASE re open this place!!!

I grew up at this skating rink, in the neighbourhood there is not a lot for young kids to do, especially in the winter. After recently purchasing the house I grew up in(down the road from the park), I see a lot of kids just on the street and it would be amazing to see this rink opened again.

With all the childhood obesity these days I believe that we as parents need to get our children outside and being active. today there is more hand held electronic mind numbing devices around that we parents and children have become couch potatos. Please open more facilities for our children to use and enjoy.

For years and years Mike Zuke kept this rink open for young kids in the neighbourhood and those around the city. The least we can do is reopen it in his honour

Mike is a local hero for his devotion to the youth of the Sault. If anyone deserves to be remembered it is Mike Zuke.

This is a landmark in iSault Ste Marie. So many kids grew up skating and playing hockey outside thanks to Mike Zuke. It would be a shame to loose such a great piece of the past.

What a wonderful idea and a beautiful tribute to my Uncle Mike .. he would love this ..and so will the children and families that will be able to skate on it! just do it Sault Ste Marie!!
