This subject should be left up to the parents to communicate.

I do not want liberals putting such trash in my child's head at that young of an age. Leave it to the parents to teach our children moral values. Stop forcing trash on our kids!!!!

I would sign this petition 1000 times over, because this is a complete overreach of schools and should not be taught at any age, let alone elementary age kids. Back off OSPI.

If this curriculum change comes to pass, it will be urgent to take the Government out of the education business! Failing that, huge public protest events are in order….

I am strongly opposed to the schools teaching gender identity! I will teach my children and grandchildren at home!

If this will be taught in my children's school I'll homeschool all 4 of them. It's not the government's job to teach these things, it's the parents! Schools are for children to learn math, grammar, science, history ect. Not if they want to be a girl or boy.

Agree with the other comments. This is not an issue for schools to deal with--this is an issue for families!

This is a parents responsibility, right and privilege to teach to their child. NOT the public education system. I'm grateful my children ate out of school and that my grand daughter will be home schooled. There are too many lines being crossed by people who have no right making moral family value decisions for MY family.

It should be a parents right to choose whether they believe their son or daughter should be taught this.

This is a morality issue church vs state keep it separated like you want it and leave it to parents to teach morality to our children!

Let the children grow and decide how they want to express themselves. There's no need in planting these ideas at such a young age.

Lunacy. Not the school systems business.

Gender identity and sexual orientation are discussions left for the home and parents. These topics do not belong in school ciriculum.

No school system should be defining for our children what God has already defined by His natural law.

Teaching this in the schools is so out of line. These are conversations to be had at home with parents.
