Let children be children. They don't NEED to be taught this. This is adult stuff.

I oppose public schools teaching gender identity education. It is the parent's role.

This is God less big government controlled over-reach dictating controlled mindset from cradle to grave through indoctrination brain washing from individual self-worth, morals, values and principles. The all consuming big government power plays are paramount in today's destruction of our once free society's enslavement to serve the master. Get to hell get out of the peoples lives, we will not be enslaved to or by any tyrants nor your /thier tyrannical societal Marxist indoctrinating ideologies.

I will not allow my child to be put through this kind of garbage. Home schooling coming up; no more voting for public school funding of any sort.

Get back to the 3 R's and leave gender and sex matters to parents

On controversial issues, schools ought to be sending outlines of everything taught and allow parents the option of attending with their child during these teaching sessions or to opt out. I want to teach my children what i believe is moral and not what the world, school or OSPI thinks is morally correct.

This is an outrage. Gender is not fluid and is not a choice. What right does the public school system, of which we all pay taxes to support, have the right to teach NON SCIENTIFIC information ti our children.

These topics of morality should be taught by the parents not the government.

What does this have to do with reading, writing, arithmetic, etc? Stop trying to socially engineer our children into being the brainwashed little politically-correct clones you'd like them to be. The only reason you'd have to "teach" a child that a man wearing a dress and using the same bathroom as little Suzi or that someone mutilating their genitals because they are "trapped in the wrong body" is anything other than mental illness is because it's common sense and something every child knows instinctively. Yes, the Emperor has no clothes! There's a difference between respecting as persons and sympathizing with the mentally ill, and celebrating their illness as a perfectly legitimate path that one might want to follow.

Teaching (or not) these things to my child is my choice and job, not the states. This falls well outside any "health" related class room material.

How about requiring genetic testing first. I'm sure estrogen testing will prove this person's real identity...not what they 'feel'...We can all feel...but it doesn't make it real! This is SICK!

Please deliver the good citizens of Washington from this social engineering and government overreach!

This decision on teaching Kindergarten and grade school ages, needs to be stopped! This would be robbing them of their innocence, forcing them to learn things that they cannot and should not understand. It appears this is the beginning of the "Roman Empire"....this is not your place to make these types of choices for other peoples children!!!
