Schools do not have the right to teach my children such controversial and sensitive tips. This is my job as a parent. If this happens I will pull my child it off school fit this particular lesson. Itis Completely inapropriate and oversteppinget boundaries

This should not be happening in schools. This is a parent's right and their job to teach this in the home. My 5 year old who doesn't even know how to tie shoes should not be taught these subject matters anyway.

Public Schools have no right to teach my kids and grand kids about sexual orientation. Shameful!

This is outrageous. Are people truly considering the impact these poor decisions will have on future generations?

The schools have no business teaching this garbage. It is the responsibility of all of us parents. I told my son who is 7, is that the schools responsibility is to teach about math, reading, writing, and spelling. That's it. It's parents responsibility to teach our children about feelings and how to resolve problems with bully's or what to do if you have a crush on someone. Not the schools. I think I may start home schooling.

1 will have 3 children at Twin City Elementary not year (K, 1, and 3). I do not support teaching transgenderism in the elementary schools.

Washington State schools MUST not teach "gender identity/fluidity" / homosexuality as a valid lifestyle. NO.

Schools are getting way to far into what should be taught by PARENTS!!! Telling our kids all of this garbage is manipulating minds, and it's horrible!

I keep asking 'why' and I'm disturbed by the answer. Why would the CSPI push such a controversial and inflammatory policy? Some will celebrate it, but who would deliberately court this trouble, which in all likelihood means deep pain for the school districts and their superintendents, teachers and angry, defecting parents? Then the answer hit me: this little social experiment guarantees a future crop of Democrat voters. It's political conditioning in it's finest form. In the name of decency and tolerance (and 'science'), one party's ideology gets taught as the cultural standard. By the time they're able to vote, within a dozen years or so no publicly educated person would think any political platform other than a left leaning one that promotes unlimited sexual self-expression as reasonable. They might be taught another side to the story privately, but with the bully pulpit of State our kids will all know how they are *supposed* to think. So I thought this was alarmingly stupid, I now see it as deceptively brilliant.

This is WRONG! Some things are meant to be taught in the home, NOT in a public school environment. Furthermore, it should not be taught without parental consent...you're not outside the law and this is not appropriate in any way, shape or form!

We, the parents and grandparents need to stop this insanity. The government is going to confuse the children in the most outrageous way by promoting gender deviation. Government must be stopped!

This is wrong, wrong, wrong, teach what will advance the students not what will tear them down. This needs to go out to the parents and let them decide if it should be taught.

My tax money goes to something I don't agree with. Can I get a refund, so I can send my children to a private school of my choosing?

Once again, government generates confusion for WA students and their families by inserting itself into the educational process.
