This is a moral issue that is the job of the family to teach. Kindergartners are too young to understand this and this can damage them emotionally as well as physically later, if they decide to pursue hormone treatment.

Leave this subject to the parents to teach. There is no reason to confuse kids.

Parental involvement is a critical check and balance on policy wonks who pave the road to societal mayhem with their bricks of good intentions. Ask yourself why it would ever make sense to "hide" what your doing by not involving parents in the introduction of this controversial and counterproductive societal experiment? Oh yes, it only makes sense if you know ahead of time that parents, for good reason, would object to this type of reprogramming and you didn't want to deal with inconvenient but intelligent and caring parents who object to this push to degender our society way beyond what would be considered reasonable. I'm all for women doing men's jobs and vice versa, no issue there, but when we start ignoring fundamental biology because it doesn't comport with what we want reality to be, ignoring reality because it doesn't suit us, that's the definition of delusional.

First, this is wrong because it is forcing certain people's expression of morality on the children of others who disagree, without any kind of consent from the parents.
Second, this is simply bad education. As a teacher, I know there are many, many things to teach, and not enough time. Focus on what you can teach well and with integrity.

Kindergarten is too young to be teaching children about these subjects. Let the parents choose what they want to teach their kindergarteners about these moral issues. Parents definitely need to be informed before these controversial decisions are made and should be allowed to give input.

Stick with what you are chartered to teach. We parents will teach our kids about sexual matters. Don't shove your agenda down our throats like the federal government is doing.

I cannot believe what this world is coming to. If this is put into affect and they start teaching this in our schools my kids will never set foot in a public school. This is ridiculous!

This is so wrong and way to early to be teaching them and yet they wonder why we have so many your teen parents.

What happened to the separation of Church and State. The Government is effectively telling people what they should believe. Some families have the financial resources to be able to homeschool or pay for private school. But what about low-income families? Their kids will be indoctrinated at school. We criticize other countries when they do it, but we're too blind to see that it's happening here too.

No way this should be introduced to students. I'll fight my district before my three kids are exposed to this curriculum.
