I will remove my young children from pulic school of this curriculum starts. It's shameful that it would start at such an early age. How dare you not give the voters a voice, yet again.

This topic is NOT something that should be taught in public schools. Someone's political agenda does not belong in public instruction!

As an educator this is one of the most outrageous ideas I have heard. The parents are responsible for this training, not the schools.

Please, have common sense! Kids this age need to learn to wipe their butts, not gender identity stuff!!

This is our public schools fostering an agenda. It should not be part of a public education. This is what parents and families are for. At the very least this should be brought to the local school districts for parent involvement. I think the State understands that it would never be enacted if this were the process.

Teaching biology is the domain of any kind of education, but parsing gender issues is most definitely not. The current discussion on gender identity has produced nothing but confusion -- and the end result is it's the educators who are confused. Listen to the parents -- this topic does not belong in a public school classroom, period.

This is sickening! Not every parent wants their child knowing this kind of thing! It's our jobs not schools jobs to tell a child things like this!!! I for one know my kids are born what they are and no one is going to confuse my child!

What is this world coming to? Let parents do their job at home, not the schools. Boys are boys and girls are girls and no other. God help this country!!!

Stop your inappropriate curriculum changes that have nothing to do with education. Let our children be children. Stop the political correctness and instituting controversial policies and doing so in violation of parental consent and knowledge; without notifying parents and allowing them to opt out of these invasive and inappropriate policies of gender identity and sexual orientation and HIV prevention especially as such young children.

If this radical agenda were to be enacted, my children and thousands of others would be home schooled! This is an assault on children!

Why are these people paid to produce such detrimental legislation? They should be immediately booted from their prestigious positions.

We are strongly opposed to the Washington Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction's (OSPI) plans to have progressive gender education.

This should be the choice of families to teach this to their children. Not the schools.
