I have been teaching since 1987. I'm not even allowed to teach regular, learning subjects due to trying to correct behaviors of abnormal up brining to start with. There is NO way I will teach this abnormal thinking. What is wrong with you people. STOP your stupid madness!!!! People are people. We can love, encourage and help the best we can in the classroom. Outside of school all bets are off and they all do what they do for the 90% of time they are NOT in school for 13 years. That's right big thinkers. We have them for 10% of their life in school. The big wide world has them the other 90%. So , no, I won't waste time teaching them to be anything but a learner in some academic skills!

Schools have no businesses teaching this. The American Association of Pediatrics has ruled that teaching such gender issues to children is abuse.

We take God out of the pledge of allegiance but you are going to teach my kindergartner about sex and HIV! What has happened to our society? As a parent it is my choice and my choice alone to expose my child to that, no the state. How about we start focusing on meeting the no child left behind act requirements since we are the only state to decide it didn't care.

This is spinning out of control. No wonder more parents are favoring home schooling. The state has NO RIGHT to mandate the teaching ANYTHING behind the backs of parents. Shame on our state government for even thinking about it. Let our schools allow children to be children and develop their skills and talents not confuse and frustrate them over gender identity.

i am saddened as to what the school thinks they can have a say in. This learning should be a decision of the parents.

Do not teach gender expression, gender identity and fluidity, sexual orientation, and HIV prevention to school age children.

This education should be upto the parents not the schools. I need to be respected as a parent, choice of religion as Jesus Savior and demand to have the same respect as any other! I am a citizen and I have the right to my voice and what is right for my children the state did not bare my children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This subject is totally inappropriate for the intended age group and in conflict with many family morals and values.

Gender Identity!! Pathetic! Pure foolishness! It's almost like the story of the Emperor and his new clothes! A girl is a girl and a boy is a boy! Simple no confusion.

This is absolutely ludicrous! Where are these people's brains and common sense? All this will do is confuse these young ones and create confusion and raise issues about 'identity' when they do begin to understand and investigate a true, natural, God-given reason for sex and natural (normal) sexuality!

Hands off our children! They do not need to be told what gender the can choose. They are presented with the gender, which the Creator has given them!

Gender identity should not be a topic in elementary school.

This is insane and has no place in our children's or grandchildren's public education system
