It is my right as a parent to be teaching my children about this, not yours. Stop teaching our children things that are not relevant to their ages and start teaching them useful skills. Put more money into English, art, and music.

Leave the parenting to parents, this not only encroaches on life style choices but also religion.

This is an embarrassment for my city to decide to try to take parenting into their own hands when it comes to gender roles. Education is knowledge of workforce/advancement in a career path. Leave gender roles to the parents and families

It is unfortunate that administrators are more interested in promoting their personal agenda than properly educating our children.

Absolutely crazy. Schools need to stick with academics and let me parent my child morally regardless of my stance.

If the public school system starts implementing these new policies regarding children and identifying with their "sexual orientation" I will be pulling my two children out of the public school system. I am a Christian and this violates my beliefs and the direction I am trying to lead my children. I would be forced to either put them in a Christian school or homeschool them.

Our children have so much pressure on them already to try to do all the right things that putting something like this on school agenda is so wrong.

It is definitely too early to teach young kids these sexual related stuff from 5 year old. I'm concerned

Schools should teach reading, writing and arithmetic rather than confusing innocent children with such perfidy as gender expression gender identity and fluidity, and sexual orientation. OSPI is obviously trying to sexualize the child and none of this is age appropriate.

It is my choice to teach my son these things not yours. I am his mother not you. my son owns a pink shirt. My approach to gender equality is different from yours. My choice not yours.

This is inappropriate for our children. The state has no right to push their agenda on those so young and impressionable! Let them learn to read, write, play and just be children without trying to open pandoras box.

I will have to pull my kids from public school if this doesn't change.

I will pull my kids out of public schools and teach them at home or put them in a Christian school. This crap by the liberals has got to stop. I will not allow them to force this on my family.
