In my opinion it is not conducive to their emotional and mental health to teach these things to young children. The majority of people/children deal with the gender they were born with and the cold hard facts are that if you have a penis you are a boy and if you have a vagina you are a girl. There is very, very, very rarely a deformation which gives something in between. Five-year-olds don't really need to know about this. Let them play and learn the ABC for heaven's sake.

This does not belong in schools. Period. End of discussion. At some point in high school children can learn the biology of the reproductive systems, but this kind of indoctrination starting at 5 years old? No effing way.

Gender identity is not education, or curriculum. It is a psychological agenda. Leave it out of the schools. Up the curriculum on reading, writing, and mathematics. Invest in children gaining more abilities to contribute to the future of this planet. Stop investing in confusing children with insane made up curriculum. Anything to do with sexual education needs to stay within the family unit of the students. This kind of made up education just bypasses parents and how they raise their children. It then degrades the child's view of family. Wake up Washington!

I do not agree that gender issues should be taught at school.

Nope this is absolutely NOT OK I will not be allowing my children to have the subject taught to them in school. By no means is it the schools right to teach my children about sexuality or gender, especially at a young age of 5! I don't have a problem with one having a preference on sexuality or gender but this shouldn't be in any of the schools agenda

This is subversive education and should be eliminated from the curriculum. Parents have a right to know and approve what is being taught in the schools their children attend.

This does not belong inthe svhools it is up to the parents to talk to their children about this mine would be home schooled if this ever gets into the schools and really your not even going to notify the parents you should be ashamed of yourselves

Completely inappropriate to teach such things. Forcing parents to homeschool and heavely teach against this in the home rather than teaching children to be kind to everyone. We will have to teach them that this is wrong and those choices are wrong. This draws a huge divide among people with different beliefs and values. We are also overlooking the huge probem of pornography shown and veiwed by young children causing children to abuse children and creating confusion. Ignoring the abuse and applauding the pain. Comletely ignorant.

Look, if you want kids to choose for themselves what gender they want to be, let them wait until they are adults. but having them choose in kindergarten is anything but right. Heck, might as well throw in mature things in with that as well, like what Teen Vogue is doing.

The parents should decide what their children our been taught in schools, we can not just agree that everything they teach is ok, just because it popular.
