I do not believe it is appropriate to be discussing sexuality with young children who have no concern. The issues of identity in this regard should be set aside for those who are more mature.

Totally inappropriate to mandate this new "curriculum" without giving parents the opt out option as with HGD. No way is this appropriate for elementary or middle schoolers.

I struggled with how early my son was getting human development education already (this year in 4th grade).

I do NOT want my children learning about this in school. That is something entirely up to the parents/family. I will not allow my children to be a part of that class.

This type of education is not the place of schools or government! They should spend more time teaching kids to read and write and let parents teach kids about gender and sexuality. This is not their place! And they better notify parents before implement anything or they will more problems than can handle. Let's spends those school funds on kids reading and writing and not on lawyers!

This is an attack on traditional values and beliefs and should not be taught in public schools. This goes too far.

This is a terrible way to treat children and borders on real child abuse. You're teaching them lies about reailty and upending their own realities. It is an affront to decency and to the dignity of a children. This is a great threat to children's psychological welfare.

These standards are completely inappropriate for kids of that age and should never be taught in Schools. Especially without the need to inform parents.

If parents desire they can teach in their own homes, it should stay out of the classroom

You should be ashamed by your comment of not notifying parents about this mandatory teaching of this in school. This subject does not belong in a school.period.

There are some things that the school should stay out of: this is one!!! Leave these teachings to the parents, and you all worry about spelling, math, lunch, recess, English, etc... UNACCEPTABLE!!!
