Whilst we do not demand a purple lamy safari special edition, we of the fountain pen community believe that it is of Lamy's best interest to produce a purple Lamy safari edition. There is much interest, as seen below, in this colour which Lamy has not yet released before. Every year purple has been a consistent request:

Purple is my favorite color and would look so good in a rainbow arrangement with the rest of my beloved Safari colors.

I would LOVE to see a purple safari. I have several friends and family members I could get them for as gifts, as well as, of course, myself.
