Columbia County (West), will be just like Columbia County (East) soon...one big mess of packed neighborhoods, high density traffic, strip malls, few open areas, natural trails and more. The madness needs to stop.

I feel like infrastructure does not support adding more to an already crowded area. I am not in favor of this at this time

As a former home owner on River Oaks Way, the addition to condensed lots and multiple homes will negatively detract from the value of surrounding homes on larger lots. A huge increase of traffic on Hardy McManus will cause congestion and increase likelihood of accidents. Now as a resident of Amberley, I foresee an increase in traffic volume and overcrowding in our already overcrowded schools. I strongly oppose this rezoning.

I am vehemently opposed to the rezoning efforts along Hardy McManus Rd. I live in Riverwood and my children attend Greenbrier. These schools are already at capacity, as are the two lane roads in the area. It seems like common sense to me that there would be some major planning and strategies implemented to reduce the impact felt by the current residents in the community. We need a voice in city and county government to put a stop to this nonsensical, out of control building, not a yes man with his hand out. Put residents first, not builders.

I am against rezoning on Hardy McManus Rd. Greenbriar schools are already overcrowded and Amberley and Riverwood have entirely too much traffic as it is!

Riverwood is already over populated and I have a home in Mitchell Park that can not handle any more traffic. I also have a home in Amberley. Their should not be any more homes built in back of Mitchell park near the power lines.

The entrance to the proposed River Oaks subdivision needs to be relocated to a different location on Hardy-McManus. Since tying HM into the Riverwood subdivision and William Few Pkwy, traffic on HM has become unbearable. At times in the morning I will sit at the Stratford exit for 10-15 min to turn onto HM. I have also seen traffic backed up 20+ cars on Halali Farm Rd trying to turn on HM. The rezoning and location of the proposed subdivision entrance will only exacerbate the problem.

Hardy McManus in its current state can not handle additional traffic. Our schools do not need higher enrollment.....our children's education will be compromised unless another elementary school/middle school/High school is built at the same time along with substantial widening of Hardy McManus.

The continued development of land adjacent to Hardy McManus has increased traffic flow to a dangerous level. Often there is a 20-25 car backup just to get out of the neighborhoods in the morning. With the absence of a center turn lane, turning into a subdivision can also block traffic for a significant amount of time resulting in some drivers to making risky maneuvers to get around traffic or turn when there really is not enough clearance. Before additional housing is introduced, improvements need to be made to the overall traffic infrastructure.

I do not want this to happen. The intersection is already unsafe and there are a lot of unexperienced drivers. My new teen driver to name a few. The road up for refining to PDR is a better option as the main entrance. It is not across another subdivision.

Traffic signal needs to be installed at the entrance of Stratford for this kind of development not to obstruct normal car traffic.
