Columbia Co needs to manage growth rather than expediting haphazard expansions leading to more traffic, destruction of remaining natural elements of an already highly developed area. Strike this proposal down for the reasons cited in this position.

What a terrible idea. Hardy McManus is already near impossible to get on/off of because of the extension to William Few Pkwy. Now they want to increase traffic even more?

This will be a burden on an already burdened school zone. Traffic will be increased and the county does not have the resources to correct for it fast enough. This kind of small, fast and cheap developments decrease the value of other well planned developments in this zone.

NO- to multi housing as proposed on Harvey McManus Rd. Our schools can't handle the increase of new students. Our roads are not equipped io handle more traffic. The back ups now are bad to get out of our own neighborhood.

Please consider not approving this proposal. Property values in the Greenbrier area have already decreased since my original home purchase. This will just continue to devalue our area. We also cannot afford the additional burden on our already over crowded roads and schools.

Hardy McManus RD has become extremely unsafe and has increased difficulty of getting out of our subdivision. Having another subdivision wouldn't only add to this chaos.

The subject application benefits no one but the owner and developer. It does not benefit our community which is already too congested and unsafe.

Hardy McManus is already dangerously overcrowded with traffic. I worry for those of us that like to use Betty Branch for kayaking and hiking that these neighborhoods along with the increased traffic hurts the nature that surrounds it. My family loves how quiet it is down Betty Branch when we kayak and I would hate to see a bunch of houses as we float through. Plus, we just rezone Greenbrier Elementary to help reduce the overcrowded schools, with the new construction at Riverwood West and then these neighborhoods, we would need another school built. The County can't even get a community center built, but we can have multitudes of congested housing with kids that have nothing to do after school. Lets fight for a community center, not more communities!
