Up front... I do not support this rezoning proposal. Hardy McManus is already overloaded with traffic from the William Few extension. Columbia County is a great place to live. Growth and development is inevitable however the Hardy McManus corridor lists 2 schools, railroad tracks, 2 churches and residential neighborhoods. The traffic load is already not safe making it impossible to bike, jog or even walk along the roadway. I say NO to rezoning that would allow more residences per acre.

NO - As a resident of Stratford, I must voice my opinion on the future of Hardy McManus. I DO NOT see that this in any way would be feasible for this area. The road can not handle that kind of traffic, the area schools can not handle this influx of students. Trying to get out of Stratford is already such a nightmare, that adding anything else to the area would cause such a huge increase in traffic accidents and I would in no way doubt fatalities. My family and my friends family is more important than yet another housing development. This does not include the continued damage to the wild life, trees and everything else that make Evans so pretty. We request that you reconsider allowing this new zoning change.

Definitive "NO" to rezoning on Hardy McManus. Current road infrastructure is inadequate to handle current influx of new subdivision traffic. Columbia County must address current issues prior to allowing River Oak subdivision to be build. It's crucial that this rezoning action be stopped.

No to these proposed changes along Hardy-McManus. I disagree with proposed entrance/exit across from Stratford and the idea of more crowded housing in this area. Traffic is already dangerous and we don't need to add this number of homes to the mix. I disagree with change of zoning in this area. I disagree with the proposed development. I disagree with the continued building in Columbia County without regards to environmental conservation, infrastructure weight, and poor planning of residential homes with tiny lots and/or apartment complexes.

Absolutely no! Traffic is already a nightmare and this will only make it worse. Not to mention the daycare center would be almost impossible to enter/exit due to the traffic. Not safe for anyone!!

A resounding N.O. to developer greed. Entering and exiting Stratford is already dangerous during morning and afternoon peak/school transportation times. Adding another development under these conditions is asking for tragic fatalities. People should be ashamed to even entertain the idea, let alone implement it!

As a 13 year resident in Stratford, I have witnessed the overcrowdedness, speeders, accidents Just trying to enter and exit my neighborhood. Adding more subdivisions along Hardy Macmanus only compound the traffic problem & dangers that has already quadrupled over the past few years. I say NO to this new rezoning request.

NO - to the proposed zoning changes. The increased traffic at the Stratford entrance/proposed entrance would be dangerous, and I wish to improve our property values.....or, at the very least, maintain them. I'm not being negative, but the simple truth is that multi family housing would lower the area's property values (the Realtor in me).
