Columbia County need NO MORE zoning changes to higher density housing. The quality of life we bought into does not include high density housing. The county infrastructure is not sized to handle it.

Hardy Mcmanus CANNOT handle more traffic. As it is it is a nightmare to get out of the current subdivisions. More traffic from Stratford will use the Hardy Pointe entrance to avoid the 4 way nightmare thus making the streets of Hardy Pointe more unsafe with more cars. Have you watched the buses try to turn out from subdivisions onto Hardy McManus? Sometimes their wait is over 5 minutes. The current elementary school cannot handle this huge influx of students. Traffic is also backed up at Hardy McManus at Halali Farm. At a minimum traffic lights would be needed at these 2 intersections; turn lanes would have to be installed, leading to widening of the road. Please NO, not this nightmare. I did not move here to live on a "Washington Road" type feeling.
I moved to this area for the quiet, peaceful surroundings. I am not interested in hundreds of more houses being build at a lower standard for the current area. Please don't adjust the zoning and potentially decrease the current home values.
Please reject these zoning requests.

Hardy McManus is already a very busy road. It is often very difficult and dangerous to turn onto it from our High Grove neighborhood. Until and if they make That road wider, I don't believe we should add more traffic.

No! This road cannot handle any more traffic. Even WITHOUT school in session the line to get through the N Belair/Muliken Road traffic lift is backed up onto Hardy McManus. Data already shows that this single road accounts for 4% of all accidents in Columbia County. This road is dangerous enough without adding more traffic.
