Protect public use of Walton County's beaches. Repeal HB 631.

Beaches should not be private - period I am a full time resident of 30A

We are vested in this beach community and have a house in Eastern Lake. The number of us that committed to buying or living here that aren’t beachfront far outweighs those who are. I’d imagine our property values will reflect a change to our customary use ordinance. Furthermore I think a very key point in this is public safety. Confining people to the waters edge is like telling my kids it’s ok to play in the road. It’s just not a well thought out plan.

The beaches should belong to everyone.

Please consider the economic ramifications this will cause to our community

Keep our beach open to the public

I visited Grayton 20 years ago and moved here to enjoys the worlds most beautiful beaches. I now fear confrontation as to where I can go. This is damaging our community.

It is unfair to restrict the public to public beach access only. The HB631 legislation was passed to benefit private property owners only. Just because one can afford to buy beach front it doesn't mean they have a right to block beach access to US citizens. These actions have been very detrimental to South Walton County's general public. The dunes should have protections from development and should be accessible to the many not the few.

I am a frequent visitor to Walton County and this new law will cause me to visit elsewhere

The beaches are for everyone.

These beaches in Walton county are for the people to enjoy and should never be taken away from the people.

What a great way to destroy the economy in Walton County. With no beach access, who wants a non beachfront home there? Who wants to vacation there? Who will shop and eat out there? And what will that do to their precious property value? What a selfish, poorly thought out bill. Surely it will be voted out!

I don't know who thought it was okay to sell the beach to people who own beach front homes, but it wasn't theirs to sell. The beaches should be for everyone. Repealing House Bill 631!

Please keep our beaches free!!

Stop the greed of property owners trying to steal the beach.

I support the people's right to use the beaches and enjoy nature. I support repealing House Bill 631.

Let visitors peacefully enjoy the reason they vacation here...for the beaches!
