I am the president of the "CITIZENS FOR PUBIC BEACHES Est 1973 Nassau County Amelia Island Fl. 8,000 Facebook members and 9,000 signed and notorized affidavits of customary use of our beach. We are in the process of starting a face to face notorized petition campaign to repeal hb631.

This is terrible for locals who pay taxes and don’t own beach front property. We know longer have a beach access.

I support customary use. This ordeal is bad for Florida, bad for community morale, bad for our reputation as a tourism destination. And there's way too much confusion about the definition of 'wet sand'. We should not be asking people to sit IN the surf for reasons of safety and just plain human respect. The beaches belong to all of us, not just the entitled / wealthy.

I support customary use and I urge you to recognize and proclaim that the public has rights to all Florida beaches. Beaches are public land. Beach front owners have a right to reasonable and lawful use as does the public. Customary use laws should be upheld in as much as the public is using good judgement and causing no trouble or harm. These are our beaches, not just your back yard!

I have lived here my entire life- we have ALWAYS been able to walk on the beach and enjoy the beauty of the beach and the Gulf -This is beyond ridiculous and the efforts by the police is such wasted time on matters that are so minor when they need to be doing other things

If property owners on the beach are allowed to have a private beach then will I be able to charge people to drive on the road in front of my house?

I was born and raised in Walton County and have been a resident here for 32 years and this bill cannot stand!!! The very ones who don't want people on "their land" were undoubtedly a tourist trespassing on that very land at one time! Don't move here and try to change the things that have made our county what it is today.

The beach is a natural thing that we should all be able to respect and enjoy. I would like to be able to bring my children there without someone yelling at me to leave their side of the beach. The decision in bringing this law to pass is unacceptable
