My family has been vacationing in the Destin-area and enjoying the Destin beaches for over 20 years. It is crazy that the State of Florida has passed a law discouraging the tourism which has been the life-blood of Florida and prohibiting the public from using beaches which the State of Florida has maintained and restored after hurricanes.

I have been a resident since 2005 and have visited for vacations since the 1980's. Not only does this have a negative impact on the local population, but could have a potentially devastating impact on the tourism industry if something is not done. Without access to the beaches, vacation travelers will spend their time and money elsewhere. This will have a severe impact on the local economy and home values.

I have owned property and paid taxes, both personal and commercial, in Walton County since 1993. Public access to the beach for myself and thousands of other residents and tourists is paramount; tourism and access to the beach is South Walton County's life blood. The freedom to enjoy and walk the miles of Florida beaches as I have done for the past 35 years is an integral part of me, keeps me healthy and appreciative of the need to protect the remaining remnants of our beaches. Denying beach access to me and thousands of other longtime residents and tourists negatively impacts residents and the larger business community to appease a few "johnny come lately", selfish entities. Bowing to "special interest" at the expense of the general public is repugnant! I think we may need to mob the beaches to participate in civil disorder to protect our rights.

This is ridiculous. Really want the local economy and tourism to die? Then keep this up. I have already seen unfortunate people that are miserable with their lives with property near Eastern lake try adn enforce this already. Luckily, he did not even have a CO on his property yet, but time will come and he will. I honestly can not believe this.

Repeal he 631. Let us keep,our beaches. I have been a resident of northwest Florida since 1975 and was able to enjoy our beaches until this year and now I am being told I am trespassing. This is so wrong on so many levels

This needs to be reversed for all of Florida - this law enacted by a Self serving governor seeks to exclude the majority of Floridian tax payers from enjoying our beaches in favor of wealthy homeowners, and hotels. Beaches are for everyone!

Its a terrible law that blocks Floridians and our economy from beaches that we've worked hard to be around. No one had any right to sell the beach or deny anyone access to any and all beaches here in Florida!

We spend 2 1/2 months in Destin every year, this will be our 7th year. If we cannot enjoy walking the beach, we will spend our winters and money elsewhere

Please help us save our beaches on 30a and all of Walton County! I moved from Alabama over a year ago, to be able to enjoy these beach! I grew up in Dothan, Alabama as a child and we have always vacationed here. Not being able to enjoy these beaches with my family is SAD! Save our beaches!

Who will come to Florida if they can’t use the beaches. I see a great loss to revenue and a drop in business. How will that be recovered?

May the tourist go somewhere else where they can walk on the beach freely and spend their money and support that area and they get the prosperity we could have had if our beaches were open for everyone.

Florida beaches are what people come to Florida for. Please stop catering to the richest of the rich who can afford oceanfront property. All residents and tourists should be able to share in our beautiful beaches!
