If I can't use the beach because they own it, then I shouldnt have to pay taxes to help fund beach renourishment for their property.

Yes, the beaches are for everyone! This is the craziest thing that's happened in Florida yet!

This has gotten so out of hand. Visitors are starting to cancel bookings, so I understand. Wait til it hits them in the pocketbook and see if that changes their attitude

As a lifelong resident i understand why home owners would want it privatized, however, there needs to be a balance the beach is a public property and it will drive away business of tourism if they continue to keep this law. Let the homeowners pay for restoration, trash pick it, etc. after they realize how expensive it is I’m sure they will come running back to the government asking them to do it. Keep the beaches public!!!

It's not fair to the public. I don't believe anyone should own a beach. God gave this world to us to appreciate. I'm pretty sure the land owners do not pay to have the sand drudged from the ocean to the beach, the tax payers do!! So the tax paying people should be able to enjoy it! Thank you!

It sure isn'the private beach when it needs renurishment after a storm. If Public Funds (Tax Money) is used to maintain or renurish a "Private Beach" then we as tax payers should be incensed.

Does the new law let private property owners leave beach chairs and sun shade items on their property over night? What about the owners who only stay at their house for maybe a month out of the year should the new law pertain to them?

I grew up on these beaches when they were enjoyed by all. Our co. has issues, but this shouldn't be one of them.
