Publicly funded for a small select group of private residents only? That's just plain wrong.

I feel like it should be open to everyone who pays taxes in Chesterfield

Public waters in public hands, tax payers can't access what they are paying for. Instead, wealthy subdivisions have private access to a public resource.

Tax payers covered the bill, but can’t access?

Makes no sense that you have to live in Woodlake or Brandermill to access.

Chesterfield needs to provide easy public access to Swift Creek Reservior for county residents. Parking, boating and fishing should be allowed for all county residents

This public water way can only be accessed by the exclusive resident owners of Brandermill is entirely wrong on so many levels. Public implies that tax dollars of all chesterfield county residents not just those that have resident ownership of the reservirors surrounding property owners. Are these owners so privileged as to have this exclusive right to public property ? This is a true injustice to all county residents.

Public access should be mandatory of a county owned facility.

I agree there should be public access. Brandermill and Woodlake residents tried for years to have Southside Speedway closed because of the noise. Seems they want to control all weekend activities around Genito Road

It would be nice not to have to travel an hour to kayak

I can't believe there needs to be a petition for a access to a body of water.
