It should be free for UK citizens. Too many times access to art is prohibited because of cost of entry. If you can't do free all the time at least chose free days, like every weekend or something as they do in the United States. Free every 1st Tuesday of the month.

All galleries should be free! I have been here since the new opening and the place was virtually empty!!! Criminal!!!

I was really looking forward to the art gallery reopening after its refurbishment - no mention when it closed of this ridiculously excessive and unjustifiable charge.

Art should not be preserved for the well-off members of the public. We all pay for this in taxes and donations and should have free access. Without regular attendance by the general public, the Art Gallery will fold.
