The Pariah Trail Builders organisation was originally formed by a few local Glasgow Downhill Riders. They wanted to start building a downhill trail for anyone who was tired of having to travel hundreds of miles to get to a well built Downhill / Freeride course. The nearest two being in Fort William and Innerliethen. The proposed trail was to be built in Lennoxtown Forest, and when the trail was finished it would be a place that could be easily accessible by local young riders and would be free of charge to use. We are now three years on, and after thousands of man hours, thousands of pounds, heart, soul, blood, sweat, and a few well earned tears, our track has developed into one of the countries best north shore trails. It is under constant development and has gone from strength to strength. The trail has been funded wholly by the PTB and has been built with advice from the Forestry Commission. During the 3 years I have been involved in these trails, word has spread among the mountain bike community about the Lennoxtown Trails, and has almost become mountain bike legend. The trails were even featured in Mountain Biking U.K. Britainâ
