This organization must start to look at improving their education regarding Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). What are you APA going to do to model racial inclusiveness and awareness so that racism can be reduced in the mental health community?

Please reflect on your unconscious bias and stop publishing a white fragile perspective that is harmful to people of color.

I don't even read PsychToday but you don't have to buy circus tickets to recognize a damn clown when you see one.

Do better please. Among other issues named in this petition, a white man is the last person we need to hear explain this situation.

The lives of so-called Karens are not ruined by others judging and vilifying them. Their lives are ruined by their self-entitled, rude, racist, territorial beliefs and behavior. This article was beyond tone deaf and the most disgusting part is that it was penned by someone who is supposed to be educated about such things. This is not the first problematic article that has found a home in Psychology Today, but it certainly needs to be the last. It is time to revamp your process for approving material for this publication.

Unfortunately the author missed the mark, far too long people of color have been reported by”Karens” this didn’t just start. It’s a history of deep rooted hate. Tell that to Emmett Till who was killed because a “Karen” lied on him. This has been going on. Please read. Yes lose your jobs we’ve lost our lives behind what “Karen’s” report

Come on Psychology Today! You can do better. This is the not first time you have been called out for your racist articles and lack of diversity in your magazine.
