This article should have never gone to print. Stop vilifying BIPOC who hold their oppressors accountable. You are on the wrong side of history!

It's time to listen to the voices from the margins. We will no longer be silenced.

It is way past time to expose Karen and hold her accountable. You cannot promote healing and simultaneously inflict pain and trauma. NO MORE! This article is indicative of the white privilege you have long enjoyed. NO MORE! This is no longer acceptable.

Karen’s has caused countless men of color to loose their lives through death and wrongful imprisonments for centuries. It is time expose Karen and hold her accountable.

The tone deafness and dismissing the real problem is a major problem for this provider and Psychology Today. The approval of the article appears to be true reflection of this magazine. Lack of diversity on covers and articles in magazine has been communicated to Psy Today for quite some time, including a motivating factor for recent cancelled subscriptions by Clinicians of Color. What is Psy Today to going to promote cultural competence and increase racial inclusion in you content and on the cover? Or, do WE need to create our own?

Psychology today has intentionally hurt the black community on many occasions. It is time to restructure your organization from the top down. You cannot promote healing and simultaneously inflict trauma.

This article does not serve the mental health field that already barely acknowledges nor addresses the harm done by racism and oppression. Turning the perpetrator into a victim is the wrong approach.

As a BIPOC who has used your services to find BIPOC providers for myself and for my clients/participants (not that there are many options)... This is in incredibly poor taste. Silencing BIPOC is racism.

That article was glaringly obvious of the lack of awareness of what Biopic people experience daily in this country. There’s no way that this author would take this position against LGBTQ+ people or Jewish people. This magazine needs a wake up call about how the author tried to further oppress and silence Black voices. Apologize and remove the article now!

It's disgusting how Psychology today rarely display people of color in your magazine, rarely accept our articles on these issues but you accept a poorly written article with typos from a white man who is clearly privileged and has no place or compassion towards people of color.

This article completely misses the point and as it is written by a someone with privilege it appears they are unable to see that the “Karens” he speaks of are not simply trying to correct a wrong, but using their own whiteness as a weapon and further demonstrate marginalised people must remain oppressed and “learn their place”.
