This article reflects a larger issue of ignoring and condemning POCs voices regarding historical and present issues of oppression, and reflects the white privilege of the author and editors of this magazine.

400 years of state sanctioned white supremacy violence and the victims are wrong in their response? Karens are not victims of their victims. They are victims of white supremacy. Something white people created and are ultimately responsible for. Including the maiming of their own. This is manipulative and shameful. Stop this.

The term is intended to center and examine the prevalence and damage of white privilege. Put the focus back where it belongs, then Do. The. Work to dismantle the oppression of BIPOC which creates and maintains this privilege.
