The White victim again. The author does not account for the behavior of the women that mistreat Blacks. They historically do and there are no repercussions. Now there are and they don’t like it. I would unsubscribe if I didn’t get referrals from PT.

I’m appalled at recent tone deaf articles published. It’s time for PT to take a deep look at staff and seek some consultation and training.

This article is what white privilege looks like. It must be removed immediately in efforts to decenter whiteness in the clinical community. I am disappointed to see a lack of effort from psychology today to promote anti racism efforts.

This article somehow decided to point the finger on people who are rightfully disgusted by the dangerous and racist behavior of manipulative white women aka Karen’s.
Shameful. Take this condescending article out of here.

This article is absolutely ridiculous and is actively harmful to the pursuit of racial justice. Any inaction or deference in the face of racism is acceptance of said racism.

This is a disgusting display of centering whiteness and profound disregard for a movement that simply asks for human decency, respect, and equity. I was just about to renew my ad..won’t be doing that now.

This was a poorly thought out response to discussing inclusion. It is necessary for psychology today to change its editorial team and include BIPOC individuals with expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion work and framing. This article is unacceptable, the intention should never happen again, and an apology is warranted. Take time to think about why the outpouring of this response has happened and consider/make actionable real change.
