im still reading every comment that comes in and the stories you all are sharing are so heavy but so important. im working on getting a meeting set up with the center to talk about how we can actually handle the housing gaps they see every day.

im honestly blown away by how much momentum this has gained in such a short time. its proof that people actually care about getting survivors the real housing support they need.

HELL YES. Survivors need better support for housing. Being stuck with an abuser because u have nowhere else to go is a nightmare.

So true. The trauma causes lasting damage. We need more resources for these families.

My sister went through this and it changed her forever. People dont realize the mental stuff stays way longer than the bruises.

Glad someone is finally talking about the psychological side. It is just as bad as the physical stuff if not worse.
