The library will be staying open until 10:30pm starting next week. I am honestly stunned that this worked but it happened because you all showed up and refused to settle. Let us keep an eye on things to ensure the new schedule runs smoothly for everyone.

Final supporters
Prince Sultan University's Central Library currently closes at 6:00pm daily. This is a petition to extend the library's operating hours so it closes at 10:30 pm daily. Students are currently going to public coffee shops that are loud, crowded and distracting because they have no place to go study. Extending the Library's operating hours will provide students with the facilities needed to perform all academic tasks, including group work and meetings, printing and scanning, reading, and most importantly studying for midterms, and examinations. Please sign this petition and make a change in the quality of education at YOUR university!

I honestly never thought this would reach 250 signatures when I first hit publish. Seeing so many of you agree that we need more study space shows that this is clearly about what you all want and deserve.

6pm is way too early. we need more time to finish projects especially during finals week.
The library is the only place i can actually focus. Its impossible to study at home with my siblings running around.
tired of paying for expensive coffee at cafes just to find a quiet place to read. please keep it open longer.
Seriously need this. I have class until 5 sometimes so having only one hour is completely useless. Fix this!!
