Pan Africanist Student Movement of Azania says; Walter Sisulu University (WSU) general prospectors of 2017 “Section 7 Page 78 put it very clear on the vision of library services that “The WSU Library will provide and promote quality information services that will support the teaching, learning and research activities of the university..” furthermore under the mission states” renders relevant, dynamic and up to date library and information services to the WSU clientele and general public bases on accepted practices and standards”. The student’s rights have been infringed for too long this cannot continue anymore. On page 80 of the general prospectors under library hours it is stipulated clearly that Ibika Library must be opened on Monday to Friday @ 09:00 - 24:00. We ask you to join the call let us save our education.

I am currently organizing the documents to present our case directly to the library committee. Post this link on your Facebook wall and text three friends because the administration needs to see this pressure building outside their offices. Email your department representative today and demand they support our access to these study facilities.

The momentum behind this library campaign is clear and undeniable. Send the petition link to three friends right now and email the university administration to demand they honor their own prospector guidelines.

I say the Library must be opened 24hrs a day since the exams are around the corner and the thing of the library being closed at 21:00 is just not fair.
We have a right to access information, free and quality education. WSU has a mandate to fulfill its mission and vision. It can only do that by providing us, students with all services that we need. Open our library for 24hrs

Library must open 24 hour because we have different ways of reading, I want to read early in 2 to 3 am where the is no one.
