I have been wanting this for many many years now!! XboxLive has been doing this for the longest time without affecting users Acheivements or friends lists!!
There is absolutely no reason why sony cannot do the exact same thing!!
Its time to wake up people!
We need to demand this long overdue option to change our crappy embarrassing PSN Usernames!! Sony should allow users to change their username once for free and pay 20$ any other time just like XboxLive and keep all our purchases, Trophies and friends list intact!
Also whenever a user changes their PSN Username a notification should go into the inbox of all his friends and notify them of the transition from one username to another!! Its really quite a simple concept that it blows my mind that sony still hasn't implemented this feature yet!
Also it could make them more money when you think about it!
We are Begging you Sony let us change our Usernames! I myself have too much money invested in digital games and trophies earned to just throw it all away just to create a New PSN ID!
That is just stupid! And everybody with a proper functioning brain knows this!
So please just do the right thing!

I got my account when I was like 11 and I'm stuck with the cringey-ass name D1amond712.
I just want to get rid of that name. That's all.
