A PSD/Ft. Collins partenership could be an ideal solution to the current problem.

Pool space is a problem nationwide. Adding lanes to Fort Collins will make our community even more attractive than it already is to new families considering moving here.

Fort Collins was just voted one of the best places for swimming. Please follow through on that and provide a swimming pool for Fort Collins schools.

Additional facilities are needed for competitors and community members alike. Excellent opportunity for partnership, community, and improvement overall.

We have two young swim team swimmers in our house and are really enjoying their success. Some of the meets have been in small pools and very crowded. A problem of success.... lots of young and upcoming swimmers getting involved. At least one other 25m pool could help distribute the meets.

We have two young kids who love to swim, as do we! We'd be thrilled for the local community to have more options for both teams and community members.
Thank you.

Yes, even the pools in Loveland are overcrowded.. This is a great sport for all age kids and a life skill unmatched by any others...besides running.

Please consider making it water polo friendly! (2 meters deep, 25-30 meters long, and 15-20 meters wide)

I grew up competitively swimming in Greeley... In an old junior high pool with aespestios falling from the ceiling. No club team exists in Greeley any longer. This pool would service all of northern Colorado and hopefully CSU. The demand is there.

northern colorado is so lacking in deep water high end pool facilities that if you built this, it would be booked solid within two weeks.

This pool is very much needed now, and even more in the next few years as Fort Collins and the school district grows. Let's not wait for the need to become critical/more critical!

An 8-lane 25 yard pool is being too conservative for this facility. To do this pool, its users, all aquatic sports, and the community at large any justice, it needs to be 8 lane, 35M long, with a floating bulkhead, with all deep 25M with the shallowest being no less than 2M (approx 6 ft), with a movable bulkhead. This allows this facility to do SO much more. Not only would you have one of the "fastest" swimming pools in the area (deep = fast), you can also support other sports, if built right, that would include diving, synchronized swimming, and water polo. It allows the facility to provide more opportunities and options to the community at large. You have a great opportunity to do it right. Don't waste it.
