I want to swim in ladies

I am for this petition. My daughter used to swim for FAST team last year and we would like to see more lanes.

I love to swim laps at the epic and it makes it very difficult to find times to fit my schedule when it is used for all the swim teams. I'm assuming that they would use the the new facility if it was built.

Please consider this pool for our athletes, for the reduction of traffic and pollution in our city & for the positive growth and spot light on our great city.

City pools are overcrowded. I had to join a health club to go swimming and that is often full. This is the only school district I know of that doesn't have pools in the schools. I had one in junior high. How are kids supposed to learn to swim?

Definitely need more recreation choices in SE Fort Collins!!! There are tons of kids down here that would use them.

This is needed on this side of town for all ages. Specifically for swim meets, recreational propose and just good swimming. Great for physical therapy. We recommend this be highly considered. Thank you for listening to the people. Lyle and Carol

I think Fort Collins would definitely benefit from a brand new pool and I love to go swimming so I would love for a new pool.

This is a great idea! I would still like to see a recreational waterpark like Greeley funplex here in SE Fort Collins. This would help with all the swim teams needs and is shameful that for such a large school district we do not have a school related pool.

We need a pool!

+1 on making it water polo functional. A deep enough pool will not only allow for water polo but also synchronized swimming and diving so that we can support all PSD aquatic activities vying for adequate pool space and time.

Include Diving boards!

I fully support this concept and fully believe that this is the best, and likely only feasible, option to benefit PSD student-athletes, the school district, the City of Fort Collins and its residents. I come from a community where school districts sought to build "community pools" on campuses, promising community voters that they would have access to the pools (outside of school hours/programming) if the required school district bonds were approved by community vote. Needless to say, in this day and age, community members are not welcome on school campuses and the schools can not afford the O&M costs of the pools. This proposed partnership makes sense. It allows a much-needed facility to be constructed which will benefit all stakeholders. I will NOT vote for the upcoming bond measure unless PSD agrees to participate and provide the necessary "buy-in" funding for this partnership.

We need more lap pools. We don't need another football stadium that causes brain damage. We need facilities that support more of diverse community (girls, small children, elderly, etc).

I very much support the this Petition for the Pool. our district has a lot of swimmers and it will be a very good investment for the youth in northern Colorado

I can't honestly believe this hasn't happened yet. Not only are we in need of new pool space, but we're in need of a competitive space that is the right depth, temperature, ventilation and chemical mixture to bring us up to Olympic standards to give our swimmers the chance to fulfill their dreams.
