We need another shop or nice restaurant not a hotel. Too many houses are being developed. The schools are going to suffer plus the roads are already too busy.

How disgusting people have a hard time to get on the property ladder and have had delay after delay from the property developers just to have it devalued

Why destroy a lovely village by putting a cheap budget hotel in which is not needed ! Just a greedy attempt from the developers which going on how long they’ve taken to build providence house- if they say it will take one year, it will be 10 years of building work.

If anything is to be built 2 & 3 bedroom housing is needed instead of Hotels & more flats.

Absolutely ridiculous. Hook is a quiet villag, it does not need a hotel. Underhand tactics from the developer waiting until the flats have all exchanged in providence house with no mention of a hotel or additional flats. A hotel with bar and restaurant will create noise and additional traffic to a quiet location. There is currently 107 flats on this site consisting of 1,2 and 3 beds so approximately 200 cars will need to park here already. These plant will effect the current residents property values as well as car and contents values. This is a very bad idea hart council.

Bloody ridiculous!! The residents don’t want it, there are no positives to come out of having a bloody hotel. Not happy!!

When I moved to Hook in 1984, we CHOSE a village, and developers are ruining our village, making it a town whether we want it or not. Hook doesn’t need a cheap hotel....or flats! It needs 2/3bedroom HOUSES, and retirement properties, so that the young can continue to live in Hook once they leave home, and the elderly who have lived in Hook all their lives can down size to retirement properties!

People move here for a village, don't make it any bigger into a town or city. This is NOT what Hook residents want!

Not accetable for the residents who live in providence. Completely sneaky of the developers using their buyers and knowing this was their plan to do this.

This will ruin Hook and reduce business on the hotels that already exsist within the village

it has been a continuous uphill battle with the developers Pineview. Constantly being mislead and lied too with the purchase of our property. After all the stress they have caused us throughout the process, we can’t believe they are considering doing this and causing more stress to all the residents, and not to forget the devaluation of our properties. Very sneaky, would never deal with these people ever again.

I’m shocked at this proposal, a huge development outside of my window, after all the stress and having to fight our way in due to the incompetence of the devolopers. A 85 bed hotel with a bar and 49 apartment block. Not only will this devalue our homes (many of us being first time buyers) but now we have possibilities of anti social behaviour and heavy drinking outside. Also it is in our lease we have allocated parking which is where the proposed development is. Not sure how they are doing this as it will be breach of our lease agreement. We will be getting legal advice.

There’s no room for a hotel!! Not even enough space to fit all the cars! This is a joke and can’t happen surely!?!?

This is absolutely disgraceful, a Complete disregard to the residents at providence house who have waited long enough to get into their homes. I can’t stress enough at how angry this will make me and many others, there’s not enough parking as it is and let alone having to live next to a building site for even longer. The value of our flats will decrease considerably. I see no positives to come of this plan, please please do not approve !

Complete disregard to all the residents of Providence House. Not informed of the development prior to exchanging/completing on our properties. Parking is limited already and then a low budget hotel in the car park too? Not right.
