This land should not rezoned. The only person this benefits
Is the developer. The developer obviously wants more money. To squash lot sizes because they are fully aware of the highly desired school district. People will pay to live in these homes regardless of the lot size. However, to maintain integrity in the area the voices of the citizens should be heard. We don’t need luxury housing squashed into one small lot. We could definitey use low income housing! Ever think of helping the poor? Not the developers?

This plan would negatively effect the area and surrounding neighborhoods by introducing housing units not in the same quality and size.

The developer wants to build 6 townhomes because it is not cost-effective to build a couple of single family homes. That should not be the problem of PPC or Providence Spring Elementary. This tiny plot is not the place for 6 townhomes.

City Council, please start making decisions about zoning in the interest of your constituents and not just the interest of the developers.

6 units per acre is entirely out of line with the surrounding properties.

Do not rezone. Infrastructure inadequate and traffic pattern cannot handle!

We are in total agreement with the church's stance on this rezoning issue due to the very valid reasons given. This rezoning request just does not seem reasonable in light of the density restrictions of surrounding residential areas, current and future traffic congestion considerations, current zoning restrictions, as well as the potential harm that could result to the historical qualities of the church.

If the parcel is to be developed, please insist that the developer maintain the "look and feel" of the 200 + year old church that is it's immediate neighbor. And, as always, less is more. Thank you

I am totally against the petition to re-zone land that is north of and adjoins property owned by Providence Presbyterian Church. The petition seeks to re-zone less than an acre of land from R-3 to UR-2(CD). Given the already heavy volume of traffic on Providence Road, and the proximal entrance to Providence Springs Elementary School, I believe that re-zoning this property will significantly expand and complicate any current traffic issues for this area. Furthermore, the planned use of this property (if re-zoned) would be inappropriate juxtaposed next to Providence Presbyterian Church, which is listed on a National Historic Registry. Please, do not re-zone this property as requested.

This would not be appropriate use of this parcel. No changes!

This rezoning attempt is totally inappropriate for this rare historic section of the city we cherish. I will vote against any city Council member that approves this rezoning

This rezoning plan would not be in keeping with the surrounding area and would eclipse the beauty of the historical church. Please do not let short term greed drive a decision which cannot be undone..
No rezoning!!!!!!!!!
