I oppose the rezoning petition for multiple reasons; safety, traffic, environmental to name but a few. Zoning should remain as R3.

I agree with all points stated in the petition, and I am particularly concerned with the increase in traffic and congestion near our elementary school.

This proposed zoning change creates more traffic in a school zone near a elementary school and is not a good idea

I am opposed to the re-zoning proposal because of the negative impact the increased traffic will have on our school as well as the church, and because I agree with the very valid arguments put forward in the petition.

I’m third generation @PPC. Please leave this small parcel of land alone! Look around is anything left! This is just a little bit of the flavor that once was! Land last, money doesn’t!!!!

I am very much against the 2017-202 rezoning at Providence Rd and Providence Church Rd. This will make this area to dense. This is an old Church and where I worship. My husband is in the cemetery there. I am not for this rezoning. The history of this area should be taken into consideration. Providence Springs School is another consideration that you take in. The traffic in this area is already at capacity and the parking on Providence Church Rd. is going to just make things worse. It is a very small street and need no more traffic. Please take all of these factors in as you make your decisions for this request. Think of all of the traffic now and with school buses, "pick up children cars" approaching the school it could be a dangerous situation. I ask that you to not execute a change for this area.

Such a small space for such a project. Sounds very congested and unattractive . Ditto Jane D

The children now have to be walked to the school since there is not enough space for the car line pick up. Why punish these children and their parents. I would choose to not to think that this proposal for density change would be granted. This will absolutely set a precedent that gives a nod to further changes of this sort being sought.
Please don’t add more traffic!!
