I oppose this redone as it will cause more traffic jams in the school area.

As a former employee of Charlotte Latin School, I know that Charlotte Latin has enough privately owned land to build on and use as they see fit.

This is directly in front of the elementary school. Please don’t add more traffic and safety risks for the sake of a few dollars.

Opposed. Too much of a trend already.

This will increase density, traffic, et al. And violates existing regulations.

This development is too dense in an already overcrowded corridor.

Pls do not allow this to happen. How many more homes can we try and put onto one small piece of land.

I am opposed to Petition 2017-202 and believe that the property in question should remain an R3 zone.

I strongly request that the Charlotte City Council NOT approve Rezoning Petition 2017-202 , which does NOT comply with requirements set forth in the city's own Zoning Ordinance Section 6.111 2(a): that area should be "compatible with existing neighborhoods," "specific density guidance is provided and should supersede the General Development Policies." It further states that design should "promote development which reflects the unique history and character of the area." The proposed rezoning petition exceeds the Area Plan residential density. The UR-2 zoning classification is therefore not consistent with the Area Plan.

With so many children moving about, our elementary school cannot handle additional traffic here. Housing units built so close to a large elementary school would jeopardize the safety of our children. Please consider this reality...the safety of our children is so much more important than the potential profit for this builder.

I am opposed to this area becoming a multi unit development. It will negatively affect the church and risk the safety of the children at the elementary school due to worsening traffic and congestion.
