Having gone to a meeting regarding downsizing primary schools and catchment areas. Stunned to hear that no schools had be shut. Those chairing the meeting hadn't heard of patcham lodge. No wonder these children still have no local provisions

Brilliant idea. My daughter is leaving secondary school for college this year, she has scraped by since her time in education. But there is a severe lack of funding, understanding and training. It's a pity they didn't have more of these inclusive schools when we needed them. My daughter attended the unit at West Blatch and they were fantastic. It all went a bit wrong in after she left to be main streamed at the age of 7.

My son has Autism and is supported so well within his mainstream primary school setting. A better understanding from school staff and a more flexible approach later in his education would be hugely beneficial.

I support post 11+ school facility being built; my grandson and family are supported while at primary school, but at senior school children can get 'lost'.
