I believe Cayman should hold on to any bit of locality it has left. Out island is being sold out to foreigners, what will be left for the Caymanian generations to come!

I'm not supporting an company that's not Caymanian owned to buy the majority shares in my bank.

Let the legacy of the Cayman islands be seen through this local empire.

The name of the bank says enough. This is not Trinidad and Tobago

What value would Republic Bank bring to benefit the people of Cayman? Innovation? No Better governance? No Interesting products? No Differentiated thinking? No

No way, cant let that happen. Ttust the shareholders dont be that crazy.

A crying shame to give up our own

I do not support the acquisition or majority stake holder being no other than Çayman own.

Republic has had issues in the past. Secondly they will do what RBC Trinidad did to RBC Bahamas. Close out credit card, lending etc and move to Trinidad. Customer service in Trinidad is awful and do not see any future of it improving.

I strongly oppose this notion. CNB should remain Caymanian!

We don’t need any foreign companies to own our national bank....... furthermore they will do caymanians what first Caribbean bank did caymanians with their corruption on foreclosures

Bit by bit I am watching the things that we have come to embrace with national pride being sold. No regard for us a a people but more regard for dollar. I have been banking with CNB for over 30 years and have proudly watched them support and uphold their name - Cayman National Bank - making themselves truly Caymanian with a 98% Caymanian employment. With God's help, this sale will not come to fruition.

It will be a shame to let this happen. Folks don't you see this little island is for all others except us? We're are a minority in our own country and we cant go to any country and do what they can come and.do here. God help us all

Dear Shareholders, I have been a 25year customer of CNB under the leadership of 100% local ownership. I don’t see the need for the sale unless its for the (Owning shareholders ) quick profits as the cost of loosing the one corporation that’s Caymanian. Have we forgot the downfall of First Cayman Bank and Barclays Bank? Both Companies was offered a sweetheart deal and look at them now. I encourage the ownership to think sustainability first Vs. quick profits. Regards, Clint A. Hunter
