Protection for property buyers in Turkey

Know someone in one of these situations. Our neighbours two english people and two Irish people also lost their apartment because the owner had debts on the tapu

I lost £60000 to Fethi Caglak Emlak and a corrupt solicitor called Polat. Never trust a Turk.

Forever Homes sold me and my husband a property for 30000pounds and we didn't have habitation papers and the tapu looked very wrong .This company are nothing but RIpoff don't fall into the same trap we lost thousands and I just can't understand how someone can come and eat breakfast with you that you have cooked for them and rip YOU BOTH OFf

I too have been defrauded of my 3-bed apartment by Fethi and Besir Caglak who took my money and then resold my apartment to aTurkish man . This is unlawful fraud but the Caglakd have run off to another part of Turkey where they could well do the same thing again. Please help expposed these crooks

Besir Caglak has defrauded me too of my 3-bed room apartment which I had paid for in full in the belief that if I paid him all the money he will give me the tapu l had been asking for for three years. He is a thief and now he has left Didim and moved to Diyarbakir. His phone number is 00905325586349. My cousin Myself & a family friend purchased a villa in 2007 at Aydin Villas.Akbuck for £120,000 plus spending £10,000 on furnishings + security wrought iron railings window bares and steel doors etc the site has 26 villas & maisonettes. at least 13 brits got ripped off waiting for their Tapus no military checks, which we paid for at the Notars office in didim where even actioned.We sought advice from local lawyers who reassured us all was in hand due to the government's 6 month? deliberate delay in issuing Tapus to non nationals .Late 2009 we discovered ARM the builders borroed $2,500,000 on those owners still waiting for their Tapus but we were the tip of the iceberg i believe 60 or 70 over brits were ripped off by the same builders i Didim, Altinkum,Akbuk at least £2,5 million pounds +++ was stolen just went missing . ARM the builders purchased many the repossessed properties back at auction and now let them out or have sold our homes on. I do have a video taken convertly of the brother of the MD Recep Aydin explaining how we can buy back our villa at Auction for £50,000 as they controlled all the property auctions in Didim. We now know they purchased most properties back for them selves. This is theft on a grand scale.

hi chris just read your comment on here we also purchased a house from fethi caglak and was ripped off just the same as you house was not built and our solicitor also has done nothing. were still trying to fight this on after 5 years am 77 years of age now, can you tell me how you got on also what solicitor was you with? ours was in altinkum didim

i purchased a property from asem construction in didim.they failed to complete and still hold my money. i tried to get a solicitor to help me through a company called cresent homes in didim and they aslo took my money and did nothing to claim back my money.i have lost everything now.these people should be taken to a criminal court in turkey,they cause misery to people to satisfy their own greed for money!
