its about time this was looked at. absolutely unfair on the victims
Total madness. The law should be protecting these kids not finding ways to let attackers off the hook.
This is shocking. How can anyone expect a traumatised child to speak up in such a short window? Needs changing asap.
Awful that this is even a thing still. Victims need time to heal before they can even think about reporting it.

6 months is nothing. Kids dont even realise what happened to them until years later sometimes. Sort this out.
