The disruption also goes all the way down to piper’s lagoon and neck point.

Departure Bay area roads and side streets in general have become busier and more hazardous as people increasingly use them for a cut through to avoid Dep. Bay Rd. Every Argyle intersections including Dep. Bay Rd should have 4 way stops for traffic calming, and speed humps on the non-emerg/bus streets. Actual sidewalks are needed everywhere, We pay enough in property taxes that we shouldn't have to beg for basic safety in an increasingly densified area. Reduce the entire area's speed limit to 30 and enforce it. No one needs to speed through this residential area to get to their destination.

That noise is dangerous for elderly and for people with certain illnesses or one's recovering. It can be triggering.

The drag racing on departure bay rd is extremely concerning. Seems to be the same individuals both vehicles and motorcycles.

The excessive speeding of motor vehicles and cyclists down Departure Bay rd (south) and along the beach is a serious safety concern that the city must address ASAP to prevent anyone else from getting hurt.

people need to slow down going down Departure Bay from Rock. City. I’ve experienced annoying vehicles up my butt when I was going slightly above the speed limit. not cool

I am not one to usually complain about noise in neighbourhoods but this is more than just kids having fun. There is excessive speeding and drunk driving every night. Many times I have watched the cops come and encourage the teenagers to drive away, without breathalizing them. The kids are also targeting the apartments across from the beach. They will scream "Wake the F--- up fa---ts" over and over and honk their horns, I have also had something thrown at my window. I am concerned with how it is escalating and how they are putting themselves and the community at risk.

For many years this neighbourhood has suffered with constant noise pollution. Time to adopt modern means to at least begin to address these nuisance vehicles.
