I support the off color BRTs and believe the health can only increase with a larger gene pool to choose from. I do believe the BRT has many more health issues to come in the future which have nothing to do with color. Look at everything wrong with it now.

color black terrier should have the right to exist next to the black as the standard color.

Protect the genetic integrity of the breed - no good dog is a bad color.

Having been an owner and a breeder of BRTs for the past 15 years I know this is a hot button issue. I believe that BRTs of color should not be taken out of a well planned breeding program and should remain to be recognized in UKC.

I prefer the colours to the black, why should they not exist ? It's time breeders stopped killing innocents !!

Limiting the population of healthy breeding animals using specifiers such as color..is ridiculous and a quick way to a breed riddled with health issues.

As a breeder I support this. The coloring is the least important trait with this amazing breeds. I would hate to see what has happened with other work and protection breeds happen to the BRT.

Removing a group of dogs, from a breed's population, based solely on color that does not affect the health of the dogs, is a detrimental decision that will have a negative impact on the breed as a whole.

I believe that all dogs are beautiful and that what is important is that they are healthy, balanced and happy.

The colours are a direct result of their breeding....ie Airedales in particular. The first BRT I saw looked like a big Airedale. Magnificent ...great gene pool.

As long as they are purebred I think it's ridiculous to discriminate!
