Brt is black and only comes in black as the breed Standard says so KC is reg as black so should not be judged as there is something else in there makes it unfair and could be classed as cheating

The color of the dog actually doesn't matter!!! All that we should care is to have a healthy and happy dogs ... Adding more genes will help prevent some genetic problems ... So why not allow grey, golden, brown????

I think the show is secondary, but important step for the general acception. The colorful dogs' work ability, character and temperament have not different with the black dogs. It would be good within the breed recognized as a separate color version for them.

With off colors allowed there will be a much broader gene pool to keep inbreeding faults from showing up as they did with many of the AKC approved breeds.

What is important in the breed is not the colour. Temperment. Drive. Structure. These are what makes this breed so special.
