Our elected officials, meaning Town Council and the Mayor, are on the record as opposing a road connecting Alpine to Draper. It is not part of the Master Plan. So many of us are counting on our elected officials to keep their word and do all they can to oppose this road. The road would deliver unbearable traffic to our streets which are not designed for such a load. The proposed solution of having a gate in place is a temporary measure and would certainly be brought down as the thousands of residents in the hills above us will carry a lot of weight. We have to defeat the gate proposal before it is ever installed. Once it is up it will likely be too late.

This project should not include townhomes or condos. Any development should only have construction that is consistent with the quality of homes in the Highland Beacon Hill (close to 1M plus) and Alpine Hog Hollow area (1M+). It is irresponsible of Draper to consider allowing the development to move forward the way it is being presented. There is no way access from Alpine or Highland should be considered in any form for this project. I am available for interview. I have 27 years of Real Estate experience in WA, CA and Utah. Thank you.

Please do not I crease traffic through this rural area. The last thing it needs is a bunch more cars and trucks impacting the habitat of little wild creatures - and big.
Some places should not be sacrificed so some developers can make a boatload of money.

No road access from draper for Blue Bison development. Alpine does not have the infrastructure to support that many cars. And of course they will prefer to go via Alpine - have you driven Highland Blvd - it’s terrible to drive and further away from the development than lake view.

Thee are so many great things about our city - one high on my list is that there is no through-traffic. If someone comes into Alpine it is to see someone there or enjoy our trails. A gate is not a good "solution" to no traffic on the road. I could also bring up the inevitable impact to beautiful areas used for outdoor recreation.
