Protecting Alpine

Please do not bring a road into Alpine from Traverse Ridge. Alpine just can’t handle additional traffic from outside our community.

The road is unnecessary. This development is in the Traverse Ridge Special Assessment District which means a small amount of people in that district will be responsible for paying for snow removal and maintenance.

Please do not build the road connecting Alpine to Draper. This is not at all a great benefit to Alpine. It is not a necessary road.

We are totally against building a road connecting Draper to Alpine. This would have a negative impact on both our community and neighborhood. We chose to purchase a house in this location because of the tranquil atmosphere that defines Alpine. I am deeply saddened that a developer even has the option to come in and destroy a whole community because of self interest and greed. The small town, quiet atmosphere of Alpine should be preserved for the residents who have chosen to make this their home.

Vote NO to this BB proposal. Alpine does not have the info-structure to support the traffic. Many of us moved here to be in a small town & away from the hectic life!

One of the unique benefit of alpine is no through traffic. Please keep it that way. Block the road between Draper And Alpine.

Do NOT destroy that beautiful neighborhood with a busy road through it!!!!! Stop the development!

This developer is trying to cheat and change an agreed-upon development into a massive headache for everyone in Alpine and Highland. Listen to the voices of your constituents and Just Say NO!

and... the gate will be left open. Alpine does a very poor job of maintaining the road on that side of Lakeview Dr. Increased traffic will cause the broken pieces of road to pop out and subsequently force the city to improve it. This will cost EVERYONE in Alpine!

Please don't sacrifice sweet community, rare beauty and regarded well-being to thoughtless purveyors of profit without concern for the ruinous impact such a decision would have! This land, some of the last 'wild space' bordering Highland (and parts of Alpine), and home to wild turkeys, deer, countless birds and other wildlife (even the occasional moose and badger), is part of a parcel purchased for a pittance in 2012, headlined "the largest open space purchase on Wasatch Front," and touted as "a very historic and important addition to Draper City's open space." The 110 acres was sold, despite community opposition and efforts to preserve its natural beauty, well-loved trails, wildlife corridors, and topography critical to keeping the hillside intact and limiting flooding, with the understanding that restricted infrastructure be invested there to limit congestion, strain on resources, and unstable or unsupportable excess development and destruction. Blue Bison has been pressing the cities of Draper, Highland, and Alpine for years (largely underhandedly, without unduly alerting citizens or allowing input or alternatives) in an effort to expand and amend the original agreement (50 homes) to nearly 6 times the structures agreed upon. This exponential increase in development, however, would require additional access through Highland and/or Alpine, and would surely encroach on services and systems of these neighboring towns, altering the feel and face of communities forever, compromising safety and dramatically increasing congestion. Such ill-considered 'settling' would be irreparably injurious to neighborhoods and needs! Pleading for pondering...“Think it over, think it under.”..."Think, think, think.” ― (A.A.
