No on the connecting road, or approving any high density housing!!! I moved to Alpine so I could escape the high density housing and traffic, and be able to have a farm, and be surrounded by like minded people, that too, just want to live quietly, enjoying the view, and our animals without being forced to hear and deal with the absurd complaints that will come from the people that choose to live in high density housing. NO TO BLUE BISON! NO TO REZONING BANGETER/BURGESS FARM!!!!!! keep Alpine as Alpine!!!!

A gate means traffic will come through. Period. For a short while, a gate will regulate how often or who will drive through. Then a decision will be made in a quiet meeting somewhere in Draper after someone else decides enough time has passed for people to forget. Then the floodgates will open and our streets will rush with traffic and the gate will have no strength.

Alpine is a very special place. It is our responsibility to make the choices today that will allow Alpine to remain the wonderful community that it is. That doesn’t mean no growth- but, it certainly means that connecting our small community in any way shape or form that could potentially make Alpine a thorough-fare to the exploding growth in Utah County is an awful idea.

There are many open spaces where this development wouldn’t be destructive.
I’d also like to see a limit on tall buildings on the east of I-15, soon we won’t even see Timp.

Blue Bison bullied us and told us they would build highrise apartments in our back yard if we didn't allow a road in Highland. Our homes are $1 -$2 million dollar homes and we paid a huge premium for our lot for the nature reserve.

Based on current budget projections the City of Alpine simply doesn't appear to have adequate financial resources required to develop roads and other critical infrastructure required to carry the influx of traffic via this eventual 'shortcut'. There should be a resounding NO vote by the city council.

Please do not allow this access road through Alpine for this development. The speed and traffic on main street have increased too much already, and this will further increase both of them. Many good points have already been made as to other reasons this is a bad idea.

I love our Alpine home and community and our hills and our mountains. Please keep those hills and mountains on this side to Alpine.
