You need to get rid of ineffective teachers not get rid of whos the youngest especially if they're actually meeting requirements

SAVE the great teachers that make eduction at LCHS fun. The age of the teacher should not go against them. Keep the newer teachers because they are there for the future students

Mrs. St. Aubin is seriously my favorite teacher & she has taught me a lot more than any teacher at the school even though she's teaching a foreign language. I don't think it's fair that this goes by seniority and not evaluation. Mrs. St. Aubin always has so much enthusiasm when it comes to teaching and school and she's always so prepared. It would be a terrible loss if LC didn't have her there anymore. Displacing teachers that don't teach/love what they do would be a more reasonable thing to do rather than displacing the best teachers at LC just because they've only tought there for a certain amount of years. If Mrs. St Aubin leaves I will be extremely upset. :(

Some of these teachers being displaced are some of the most prideful and positive teachers at LC. You can tell by their faces and actions how devoted they are to their students and their jobs. These people have developed relationships even for the short time that theyve been at LCHS and do not deserve to be torn from their jobs over teachers that may have seniority, but dont impact the students lives

I may not go to this school, but I approve of this petition. I feel that this will give teachers who are more qualified a better chance than those who aren't qualified, yet still a teacher because of seniority.

Mrs St Aubin is honestly one of the only teachers that I trust & talk to everyday. I've never met a teacher like that before. She deserves to stay!

Teachers need to be kept that care about their students. I understand that those who have the most years make the most but everyone suffers when bad teachers are kept and good ones are let go. Please take a fairer approach and see who is good and not so good.

This is wrong. Teachers that care and do a nice job of getting through to students are being displaced, while others could care less if we pass or not just turn in the work get to stay. Teachers should be displaced based on evaluation not seniority. To me this looks like the school board cares more about how to spend less money than what the students actually need to improve academically. Classes that looking forward to and prepping myself for could be pull out because there isn't enough students to fill an "average" class. Once again the school should be looking at the individual students' interests,not the easy route.
