I petition to have Ms. Scapini stay at LCHS and continue teaching English. She is an amazing teacher.

LCHS cannot afford to lose Mrs Cymbalski-St. Aubin. In order for our district to be marketable with Chippewa Valley, Utica and other districts, we need teachers with exceptional qualities. We need to provide quality education and offer the best teachers in the county. If we lose this Spanish teacher, our foreign language department will suffer a terrible lose. Here is what I said to the Superintendent, Principal and President of the Board of Directors: "This teacher has been exemplary in her abilities as a teacher and her integrity as a professional at LCHS. Without her exceptional teaching skills, my daughters would have never achieved the knowledge they have in Spanish. She is always prepared, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic in the classroom. I know this because she happens to get rave reviews from my girls. This is of the highest compliment to Sara, as I never hear this about any other LCHS teacher. I am so very disappointed that, of all the teachers to rid the staff of for budgeting purposes, she would ever be on the list. She is one of the very best teachers there, and most teachers should emulate her organization and preparedness. If this is based off of tenure, than I am even more disappointed at the district as a whole. This teacher raises up the academic accomplishments of LCHS students. She should be valued, and retained for as long as she is willing to stay with our district." Here is what I said to Sara St. Aubin: We cannot afford to lose teachers like you. There are very few people who do their jobs well, and even fewer that are exemplary. I would fight every day for my kids to have you and every teacher like you. I would also fight for other kids to have the same opportunity for a quality education. You provide that every day, and every kid deserves that. My family thanks you.

I believe the way teacher cuts should be is by their performance not their seniority

Performance/ability to teach and genuine care for students future are those who should keep their jobs.

There are some amazing teachers with the drive to teach. This is regardless of experience. When it comes to skilled trades dealing with very sensitive subjects performance is more important than seniority.

Mrs. Scapini is a phenomenal teacher and i'll be very upset if she loses her job because of "seniority".

Ms.scapini is the GOAT

To displace these teachers would be a diservice to L'Anse Creuse

I TRULY BELIEVE THAT STUDENTS SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN MAKING THIS DECISION.

Mrs.St Aubin should not be displaced because she is the best teacher and she not only teaches but makes the class more fun and has life in it

Take the teachers that don't teach anything, it's pathetic that they're getting rid of the teachers that actually make a difference in not only our lives but our education.

This needs to change.....

I have always thought that how well you do should determine who gets fired and how much they are paid.

I will not allow my quality of education to be based on a teacher that has more years than another one. Generally the younger teachers teach more effectively because they're closer in age to the students.
